Cassandra Harmon is from Massachusetts and recently graduated from Saint Joseph’s College of ME with a B.S. in elementary education and a concentration in English. Throughout her college experience she has had internships in kindergarten and 6th grade and has student taught in kindergarten. At Saint Joseph’s she was the Treasurer of the Education Club through which she volunteered at school dances, book readings, as well as fixing and cleaning up schools. During her free time she enjoys reading, dancing, spending time with family and friends, and learning new things. Cassandra is very passionate about teaching and is very excited to join the Boxberry Community!

Deanna Fahey, Forest Room
Gr. 3-6 Teacher
Deanna Fahey is a passionate about nature and all things wild and hails from Old Town, Maine. She has created nature based curriculum and been an educator in a variety of different environments- from middle schools to homeschool learning communities and has worked with kids of all ages- primary students to teenagers. She currently holds a BS in Biology and a Masters in Teaching. Deanna has created her own business, Let's Explore/cityLIFE Nature Kits, that provides nature-based alternative education programs for primary and elementary aged students. We feel so fortunate to have Deanna with us as she shares her experience and love for the outdoors, while she weaves literacy, math, social studies, and science into our educating for sustainability curriculum.
Seal Rossignol has been an educator for over 20 years and is currently in her fourth year of being the Administrative Coordinator for the Boxberry School. An experiential educator, Seal has worked with at-risk youth in wilderness settings, public and private elementary schools, as well as taught middle school Language Arts. Her passion has always been the outdoors and she is excited to be bringing her training in Educating for Sustainability to Boxberry.
